But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11 (NKJV)
The headlines today are full of terminal diagnoses, rising health crises, and disease. Maybe this is close to home for you. Maybe you or someone you love has been told there is nothing else the doctors can do. You have tried every option, seen the best doctor, followed every therapy, taken every prescription, and the condition still remains.
But here is the truth. God has not given up on you. Science may reach its limit, but Jesus Christ is limitless.
The Spirit Gives Life to Your Body
Meditate on this verse today. Romans 8:10 says, And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
If your body feels like it is breaking down, weakened by years of struggle, or pronounced incurable, there is still hope for you. The Spirit of God does not just comfort your soul. He gives life to your mortal body. The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead can breathe life into your physical body.
This is not denial of the medical facts. It is the higher truth found in Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:21 declares, For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Healing Is Your Inheritance
Because of Jesus, you are not condemned. You are not disqualified. You are righteous in God's sight, and that righteousness gives you access to divine health. Not someday. Today. Not maybe. Absolutely. This is not just a promise. It is your inheritance.
Think about it this way. If Jesus already paid for your healing, why live in bondage to sickness? If the Spirit lives in you, why let disease rule your body?
Romans 5:18 puts it this way. Just as condemnation came on all people through one man's sin, so through one righteous act of Jesus, the righteousness that makes us right with God and leads us to life is now available to all.
Justification and life. Not just spiritually, but in your physical body too.
Let the Word Rise Above the Report
Today, I encourage you to shift how you see this. Do not settle into hopelessness. Do not accept that this is how your story ends. Let the truth of God's Word rise above the noise of bad reports and statistics. Make Romans 8:10 your meditation. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Speak it. Declare it over yourself and over your loved ones.
When medicine has no answer, Jesus is still the answer. Where science sees limits, God sees opportunity. Where death tries to reign, the Spirit gives life.
