Ever feel like you are just going through the motions spiritually? Like there is a gap between what the Bible says about you and what you actually experience? The truth is, there is an incredible, supernatural power at work inside you right now.
The very life of God, the eternal life that moves through your spirit. This divine life gives you authority over sickness, disease, and anything that tries to hold you captive. We are talking about the ability to command darkness to flee, to see healing come, and to walk in a victory that does not depend on your circumstances. God has empowered you to live a life of triumph and overflowing blessing.
Acknowledge What God Has Placed In You
So how do you draw on this power? It is activated through acknowledgment and declaration. Think of it like a spiritual switch. If you do not acknowledge what God has placed within you, it cannot fully operate.
Sometimes, in trying to be humble, we actually deny the very gifts God has given us. You might hear someone say, I do not have any power. Only Jesus has power. While it is true that all power comes from Jesus, that is not the whole story. Jesus Himself declared in Luke 10:19, Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. He gave us this authority. To deny it is not humility. It is a misunderstanding of His generous grace.
The Holy Spirit Is the Power of God
Think about this. Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit to live inside us. What do you think He is doing in there? The Holy Spirit is not just a gentle presence. He is the very power of God. Acts 1:8 confirms it. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. When you received the Holy Spirit, you received divine power.
Notice how Jesus spoke. He boldly declared in John 5:26, For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself. Some might have thought He sounded arrogant, but He was simply speaking the truth of His identity. And here is the beautiful part. 1 John 4:17 tells us, as He is, so are we in this world. If Jesus walked in divine power, and we are like Him in this world, then we too are empowered.
Declare It Over Your Life
It is time to boldly acknowledge and declare that you are full of God's power. Let this truth be your daily awareness and shape your inner thoughts. Just like the prophet Micah, who declared, But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord (Micah 3:8), you can speak this truth over your life.
This is not just positive thinking. It is standing on the authority God already gave you. Speaking this way has real effects. It can cause sickness to go and any stronghold of the enemy to crumble. It is time to walk in the victorious life Jesus died to give you.
